This IPTV Wire news report covers the YouTuber “Omi in a Hellcat” being sued for trademark infringement using a pirate IPTV name.
According to reports, YouTuber Omi in a Hellcat (Bill Omar Carrasquillo) is being prosecuted by the US government for offenses related to his former IPTV services.
In 2019 Carrasquillo was investigated by the US federal government for running an illegal pirate IPTV operation.
This led to FBI agents and the IRS taking over $5 million from Carrasquillo’s bank accounts including his fancy cars.
Omi in a Hellcat’s illegal IPTV operation was known by many names like Gears TV Reloaded, Gears Reloaded, or Reboot.
All of these services offered thousands of channels, VOD content, and more for a fraction of the real cost.
US Government officials commented the following about Omi in a Hellcat’s pirate IPTV ring:
“Carrasquillo’s platforms redistributed Comcast, Verizon, Spectrum, DirecTV and Frontier Communications broadcasts, reportedly earning Carrasquillo a cool $34 million.”
In 2022 Omi in a Hellcat announced on YouTube he would plead guilty with hopes of receiving a lighter sentence than the one suggested in the government’s indictment.
Omi in a Hellcat Sued for Pirate IPTV Trademark
After pleading guilty, one would think Omi in a Hellcat would be done with getting himself into more legal trouble.
However, Carrasquillo needed to make money in other avenues so he decided to launch a merchandise/apparel business using a “Reloaded” brand that was also the name of his former IPTV services.
If you visit the Reloaded Merch website you will find shirts, shoes, hats, pants, and other apparel.
Now, Omi in a Hellcat is being sued by Nustar Enterprises LLC for trademark infringement of the “Reloaded” branding.
After trying to negotiate with Carrasquillo, Nustar Enterprises eventually pursued legal action for the “Reloaded” trademark infringement.
In the official complaint filed against Carrasquillo, Nustar Enterprises commented the following:
“To protect its rights in the RELOADED trademark NuStar obtained and owns U.S. Trademark Registration No. 6,376,399 in International Trademark Class 025 for the mark RELOADED in connection with ‘clothing and apparel, namely, shirts, jackets, pants, hats, belts, scarves, gloves, socks, underwear, swimwear, and wristbands.’ The RELOADED® trademark was registered on June 8, 2021.”
Nustar Enterprises LLC demands all profits generated by Carrasquillo and Reloaded Merch LLC times three, the complaint notes.
The company also demands an injunction to prevent further use of the “Reloaded” trademark where that “would create a likelihood of confusion, mistake or deception.”

Overall, it will be interesting to see what happens with Omi in a Hellcat and what’s to come next.
